Gratitude

One of the difficult things about any customer service job is that your day is full of repetitive tasks. It’s so easy to forget that this question that you’ve answered a hundred times today is brand new information for the person who is asking. Then this shows up in the mail:

Thank you note

She sent a thank you note for a task that we do a dozen times every day. It wasn’t anything out of the ordinary for us, but it meant enough to her to do something extra. My week has been a little bit easier with that in mind.
