Benaroya Hall will be filled to the gills with music this Sunday and it’s all free!
The Seattle Symphony will be playing, obviously, and there will be a Q&A with the new music director, but that’s just the tip of it all. To name a few, there’s flamenco, a Balkan women’s choir, jazz, Beatle’s covers, Youth Rescue Mission with some indie rock, and hip-hop with UmojaFest P.E.A.C.E. Center.
The full list of performers and set times can be found on the Seattle Symphony’s Blog, The Score. Performances will be held in every possible location in the hall, including outside in the Garden on Remembrance on 2nd Ave, and in the Gallery, that glassed in area along 3rd Ave that no one ever remembers what it’s called.
They’re also having a wine tasting if you want to do some day drinking.
Come on down, say hello to me, and hang out for a while!
