The sunny Sunday afternoon was partially spent catching up with Jenna on the patio at Quoin, a newer bar in Fremont. It’s shares a long, grey, nearly sign-less building with a restaurant called Revel. It kind of resembles a shipping crate and is a bit confusing at first. We had to ask where we were when we walked inside. What drew us there was the back patio. It is shaped like a backwards P, with the round part extending off the bar. It looks insanely inviting from the back.
It’s a comfortably minimalist inside and out with a surprisingly intimate atmosphere for such an open space. Jenna and I each sipped on the Adirondak, a gin and cucumber cocktail that is perfect on a summer day.
